Nice shot. Just a touch out of focus.

Golly, I have been to this spot so many times and have never seen the city or the view of it from this angle. Very inventive. I like this a lot. Great stuff Rina.

Lets call a truce here before things get out of hand. I was not attacking you personally. I understand that you may be interested in filters, but what exactly did you expect posting newbie photoshop work to a photo site?

I suggested something which for someone interested in filtering would be cool (filterforge) I'm not negative, but your images of textures with twirl filters applied just don't stand up, and are not actually what I consider 'photographs'.

I will continue to comment on images that you post. As you may have noticed my policy is to make comments in a fair manner based on well known photographic principles. I'm well credentialled to do so having taught in college and being a professional photographer with almost 20 years under my belt. I suggest you take my comments in the manner in which they were intended, to IMPROVE your work. Not to attack you personally. If you re-read the comments you will find not a single personal attack. I'm sorry that you feel offended by my comments, but do you see a lot of other 'filter art' on this site?

I will not make any more 'filter comments' I think my point is made. Going through and low rating my photographs is childish. At first I thought you were 12 or 13!

I haven't contact Kojak regarding your 'venge posts' but I will be sending a copy of this msg to him. I strongly suggest you govern yourself more appropriately in future. Also, this is a PUBLIC space, you can NOT request people to not comment on your work then have what seems to be a posting tantrum when they don't comply.

It's a truce.

Michael, Thanks for the kind comments on my photos. I like your photos as well. I would love to see a photo of your dog ? as in your avitar. I've had 3 golden retrievers over my lifetime. I would love to get another one but with my work and travel it wouldn't be fair to leave a dog alone for long periods of time. Why not post the photo of your dog on the website ? Some of us will enjoy it. Oh, by the way Ionclad is an asshole. He posted some obnoxious comment on a flower shot I posted . His photos suck and he has a lot of negative opinions about everybody's photography . I choose to ignore the idiot so should you. I have sold many photos over the last few years and my photos have appeared in newspapers, magazines, won awards in several media areas. I think I can write him off as a loser-want-a-be-good photographer. You should write him off as well.Dave92706

Hi Mikey,

Thanks for your rating and comment on my image Odd one Out .The cryptic comment was from macroman not myself and it I that responded to him because I did not have any idea what he was trying to say. I believe that if a suggestion is made then one should at least explain why it is being made. His comment was all the more puzzling to me because I examined the area that I painted and looked it at 300% magnification and cannot find anything wrong with it.
Once again thanks for your support.
Regards, Les.AKA davles
